I often overpack for trips, or don’t get it quite right at times. Thanks to flowy dresses and simplicity, packing has been easier the last few months (and I do love dressing the bump). Most of these bump friendly travel outfits are non-maternity (which is ideal), so I hope everyone finds a little inspiration.
Blue button down dress
This dress may be one of my best purchases this summer- especially if you live in a place with a more temperate summer. When I went home to Rhode Island this summer, the weather was perfect for it! It drapes well and is perfect for a coastal vacation. If you are pregnant or nursing – I highly recommend this dress.
White Dress and Birkenstocks
I wore my brikenstocks more when I was traveling often in Asia – they are a comfortable shoe and good quality. This is a similar pair to mine. A very simple outfit that you can easily recreate with items you have and a flowly white dress is a staple for bump friendly summer travel outfits. Perfect for a day of sightseeing in a warmer place and you can always swap them out for sneakers.
Simple Black Dress
This black dress works can easily be dressed up or just made casual by throwing on a pair of black sandals. The outfit was ideal for walking around the city and then going to a nice dinner.
Comfy and stylish pant outfit
The color of these pants are perfect for summer into fall, but any loose elastic bottom will do paired with a simple white tank and button down. I have been loving blouses instead of cardigans for the moments I am cold but you know long sleeves isn’t practical. Why does AC need to be on so intensely?
Simple bodycon dress
My favorite type of dress being pregnant and I love this somewhat neutral color. Being comfortable while also looking a little put together is often my goal.
T-shirt over a comfortable dress
Throw a simple t-shirt over any dress you have to create an entire different look (especially if you need to pack light).
Lounge or travel day
If you follow me on instagram, you may know this has been a go-to when I need to run errands while also feeling a little more put together than sweatpants. Maternity yoga pants or biker shorts are a maternity staple when I want to be comfortable.

Best,
Katherine
