I can’t believe it’s August! Summer thunderstorms are here, and I am patiently awaiting cooler weather (ha). I would think the months would maybe move slower during this time, but it is quite the opposite. Anyone feel the same?

This list has some items I have been liking for awhile, and ones I discovered this month. Everything from make-up, Netflix shows, songs and more. Perhaps I will make this more frequent than monthly, but for now here are some favorites!

Kosas Concealer / I have never loved a concealer as much as this one! Recommended by Jess Kirby, the ingredients are clean and it works really well.

Babo Daily Sheer Tinted Sunscreen / I was in the need of a facial sunscreen (current make-up I am wearing doesn’t have any sun protection. I thought about ordering the Tula sunscreen, (which I may try eventually), but went with Babo. I have pretty dry skin, and I feel moisturized, protected and it leaves a nice glow and tint. The only negative MAY be the smell, but it is only initially, and I don’t mind it – love the way it looks on my skin.

Formula 1 Racing / With the uncertainty of sports, we should all be watching the social distanced sport of F1 Racing. They not only are taking every precaution during this time, but have done a beautiful job in taking a stand against racism. #Weraceasone being their stance sport-wide. Check out Drive to Survive on Netflix to get a better understanding of the sport.

Loveverly The Play Gym / We recently ordered this and we love it (so does Elias). It doesn’t look like an eyesore in our home, is perfect for development (I love that they show you how to use it based on how old your infant is). I know we will use this for awhile – wish we had ordered it earlier!

Baby Bjorn Bouncer / Now that our babe is a little bigger, he loves this! Especially on our porch.

Somebody feed Phil on Netflix / If you follow me on instagram, you know I recommend this show, and a few of you messaged me saying how much you love it too! Phil was a producer on Everyone loves Raymond, and he is so funny and like-able as he explores cultures, local treasures and food all over the world.

Indian Matchmaker on Netflix / Currently just caught up watching this show and it kept us pretty intrigued the whole time. Holden’s grandparents were an arranged marriage and they have been married for 60 years! We think they should be on the show 😉

Daily Drive on Spotify / I may be late to this party, but does anyone else listen to their daily drive on Spotify? It combines podcasts, news, and music they think you will like for your commute. I listen to it on my walks now since I am not driving into the office. I get quick news from NPR/BBC minute, listen to the Snacks Daily Podcast and they select music that I enjoy.

Japanese Citrus Brooklyn Candle Co. / Hoping to find a subtle , summer candle I ordered this one and love it. At first I was worried it would be too sweet of a smell, but once lit, the smell is pleasant and not too strong. Excited to order more for Fall and other seasons.

Iced Coffee & Ginger / Thanks to a local coffee shop here, for awhile now (had the first one last summer I believe) I have been ordering ginger in my oat milk iced latte and it is SO good. My go-to now.

Hali Hali Reusable straws – I recently ordered this straw set and love it. It comes with copper straws in few different sizes as well as a a cleaning brush all enclosed in a BEAUTIFUL minimalist designed cotton canvas pouch. They have a few other wonderful inspired designs as well.

Butter Chicken Hot pot recipe / My husband has made this three times now and we love it. Make it with rice or toast up some naan for a perfect meal.

Trader Joes Dark Chocolate Reeses Cups / I may be late to this game, but these are amazing, and dark chocolate is healthy right? 😉

Target pajamas / The material on these pjs are so soft! They have a nightgown, short set (I have the long sleeve version) and pants set. Perfect for post partum.

Aerie leggings & sports bra / I love this sage green color and it is super soft. Always help with work-out motivation as well. I have my eye on these bike shorts next.

The Battle is the Lord (new song by Rebecca St. James) / I used to love (and still do) Rebecca St. James. I had all her cassette tapes, met her to get an autograph and seen her live a few times. I LOVE this song and a great reminder especially in these trying times.

Taylor Swift Album / Thankful she casually dropped an ENTIRE album. Did you know one of her songs references the story of the previous owner of her Rhode Island home? Big news in our little state.

What have you been loving lately? Let me know in the comment or over on instagram!

Best,

Katherine
