When I travel to a new city, I tend to often look up rooftop bars in the area as they are always a great way to see a skyline or other epic views with a craft cocktail in hand. These rooftop bars in Jacksonville have something for everyone if you are visiting the Bold City.
Rooftop Bars in Jacksonville: Downtown
Cowford Chophouse
Although Cowford is fancy and upscale on their first floor for dinner, their rooftop is a Jax staple, especially downtown. It is the perfect view of Main Street Bridge with drinks and small bites.
Intuition Ale Works
The perfect hangout spot if you love a local brewery and are heading to a Jumbo Shrimp baseball game or seeing the JAGS play.
Estrella
Baja Mexican cuisine with epic views of the city and St. John’s River. I love this location for walks along the water post drinks or head to more exploring downtown.
Black Sheep
One of my go-to spots when I have guests. Situated in Five Points (a trendy neighborhood in Riverside) I love the ambience and that you can get small bites as well.
River & Post
Head here for sunsets and the skyline – a great way to kickback, see the city and have a drink looking out to the St. John’s River. If you are making a trip to St. Augustine, make sure to stop by River and Fort, another rooftop eatery by the same owner.
Hoptinger
Another rooftop in the heart of Five Points, great for watching any sports games on TV and have a beer. Personally, I would save having a cocktail perhaps for another spot – but for beer and a chill hangout location this is a great option.
Coop 303
Set in the cute town of Atlantic Beach, Coop 303 has a rooftop terrance not to far from the ocean. A wonderful place to grab brunch or lunch on a gorgeous Florida day.
Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant
Casa Marina is absolutely stunning and the historic hotel has the ocean as their backdrop. Head to the rooftop for a drink and take in the coastline while enjoying their martini menu. If you find yourself by the beach on a Sunday, I recommend their Sunday brunch, as well.
Best,
Katherine
